Almost a year

As Sid's birthday approaches, I've really been marveling at how much he has grown and changed in this first year. Over this last weekend even we noticed a big change. Here are some photos I have taken over the last month. I will post again soon after his birthday party this weekend.

Next picture is Sid playing with my friend Melina's son.

As Sid becomes mobile I am learning that leaving him alone for a few minutes is not always the best idea...

When Michael came home this night, I handed him a ziploc bag full of the baby wipes and told him to use them first. He asked what I did when I found Sid pulling them out one by one. Grabbed the camera, of course.

Another example of the need for constant supervision...

My friend Dana bought Sid this adorable shirt. He wasn't too pleased to model it..

Are these not the cutest jammies in the whole world? Sid had a lot of fun this night. He was pulling the DVDs off the bookcase and then hiding them under the futon.

Here he is walking with his car...

Mom & Sid on his horsey.

All dressed up and ready to go to daycare.

And finally, Sid and Dad at the local Mexican restaurant.

awww! figures, the first picture i see of him crying, he's in the shirt i got him. =P

i can't believe it's already been a year! and yet, it feels longer too. crazy. i guess kids do that to ya - they simultaneously speed up time and slow it down.

we were in your neck of the woods today, kind of - we didn't go through your town, but we went through corvallis on the way to newport, so we were close! that was the farthest south of portland i've ever been. weird. gorgeous day though.

glad to see you guys are well!
