August Trip to Avery Park

Sheesh, am I ever behind in sharing photos. Here are some pics we took during a visit to Avery Park in Corvallis. Mom likes this picture. She thinks it looks like a senior portrait.

I loved running and playing around the dinosaur bones.

Here's Dad standing in front of the train.

Here's me on the engine!

I love slides! This was back when I still needed a little assistance.

Bet you didn't know I'm a rock climber!

Running through the grass.

We finished the visit off with a little lunch.

Family Vacation Pt 2

So, I don't have much time, but I wanted to finish the pics from my family vacation in August. One thing we did was go to the aquarium. Mom thought I looked like a big boy walking into the aquarium with my family.

I got pretty cranky walking around inside looking at all the sealife. I wanted to run around and Mom didn't approve of me doing so in a crowd of people, so outside we went. Here I am pondering which way to roam.

Walking with my DaDa.

Just being my cute self.

It was good to get a nap after all that adventure.

This picture is blurry, but it's of me giving my cousin, Emily, a kiss. The only people Mom and Dad have seen me kiss are them and Tanya, so they thought this was super cute.

Here's me playing on my Superman couch.

Here's me relaxing with my mom. I really just wanted to post some proof that she actually went on this family vacation.

On the way to the coast I freaked. Mom and Dad pulled over at Boiler Bay and Grandma and Grandpa had to follow us as we were caravaning. I thnk my parents were a little irritated by this, until they saw the whales. Unfortunately I do not have pics of that. However, we did go see some sea lions and I have photos to share..

Dad and I posing in front of the sea lions.

You have to look really close to see the sea lions. In fact, I'm not sure you can see them in this photo of my Mom and I.

Dad couldn't figure out why I was crying. Can you?

After all that indignity, I had to get away. Grandma came with me to keep me safe.

And finally, here is a trunk Mom is obsessed with buying me. Too bad it costs WAY too much!

Family Vacation

Hmm, I tried posting my video to share with everyone, but for some reason it is not working. Instead, I will share some pics from my family vacation to the coast that we took in August. We went to Bella Beach with my Colorado Grandparents and my Aunt Melissa, Uncle Mark and cousins, Emily and Chloe. We rented a house right on the beach in between Newport and Depoe Bay. We had lots of fun, but Mom misplaced the camera, so she didn't get as many pictures as we had hoped.

At first, I was nervous about the oceans and found the sand hard to walk on, but I soon got the hang of everything and had a great trip.

Here's me starting to figure out the ropes..

I got a little bit of sand on my face.

Hanging out with my dad.

He thought it would be really funny to bury me in the sand.

I thought it was pretty cool too.

By this time I was beginning to think the beach was pretty cool and that possibly this sand tasted better than the sand from my sandbox at home. I decided to test that theory.

It didn't.

Dad and I hunted for agates.

We had plenty of indoor fun too. Here I am playing with Chloe and Emily.

Kylie, Savannah and Mallory came to visit one day. Here I am playing with Kylie.

I don't remember why I was looking so grumpy in this photo of Savannah and I.

Here's a cute pic of Chloe. She is 30 days older than me.

Dad and I flew a kite.

And to end, a sweet shot of me and my Grandma.

Coloring, Gnomes, Wagon Rides

So, my mom's a slacker and I decided I had to take matter into my own hands or this blog would NEVER get updated. Here are some of my personal favorites from July.

Here I am coloring a masterpiece...

Creating a masterpiece can be hard work, even for someone as talented as me. I decided to take a break and act goofy. Mom thinks I resemble Uncle Greg in this picture.

At this point, I decided I needed a little snack. Seeing that there was nothing else around, I decided to try my coloring utensils. (Not too shabby)

Mom tried getting in on the action, so I had to hold all the crayons.

I have befriended the little people that live in and around my house. It's fun to pick them up and take them wherever I want them to go. They don't seem to mind.

Here's a pic of Dada taking me on a safari ride in our backyard. You never know what we'll see..

I get pretty thirsty in the heat. I bring my sippy cup and encourage Dad to keep going!

No one can resist my request for a ride.

Sometimes I miss my cousins really bad. This night Mom gave me their pictures to eat dinner with..

Kylie stayed the night with me one night. We went horseback riding!

And finally here's me helping sort the mail. Be sure to check back soon. I've got a cute video on the way. Unfortunatey it's way past my bedtime.
