It Snowed! (1.27.08)
We woke up this morning to a Winter Wonderland! We almost never get snow, so we were thrilled. After breakfast, Mom and Dad took me out in the backyard to play.

Mom took this photo of the backyard. If you look closely, you can see my on the right hand side. For those of you that haven't been to our house, that chain link fence running through our yard provides me with a poop-free place to play (left hand side).

Here's me walking along the fence Dad built. See all the snow coming down.

Mom said I had to post this photo. She calls it my deer-in-the-headlights face.

Mom tried to build a snowman. It was a distaster. I tried to help her, but it just didn't work out.

Here's me checking out the tracks.

Here's some pics of our house and the view up the street.

Dad shoveled the walkway. Mom mentioned that Dad was always shoveling paths back when they lived in Montana.

A couple shots of me in the snow. I was out back near the neighbor's backyard helping Mom shake the snow off the little trees.

Mom taught me how to make and throw snowballs and then Dad and I played with the dogs. Akira likes to catch snowballs in her mouth.

I tried to play with my ball, but as you can see the dogs have claimed it as their own.

They kept jumping on me trying to get the ball, so Mom took it away from me. That made me cry. We went inside soon after this photo.

NW Kids Club (1.12.08)
Mom and Dad took me to my friend Luke's 4th birthday party at a place called NW Kids Club in Salem. I had SO MUCH FUN. I didn't really participate in the party at all, because I was too busy playing.

The same day, McKenna and Kylie went to the air museum with their dad. I want to go there! It's the home of the Spruce Goose. Here's a cool picture of them.

Man's Day (1.7.08)
Every Monday Dad and I have what Mom calls Man Day. Some days we just hang out, watch TV and eat junk food. Some days we hang out in the backyard and I run around in a t-shirt and nothing else. Some days we work on projects. On this particular Monday, Dad took me to the park to see the ducks.

It had been raining a lot, so I didn't get to play on the playground like I usually do, but I had a blast with Dad anyway.

This picture will give you and idea of what us Oregonians call a "sun break".

I love rocks and water!

Throwing rocks is really fun!

Hey, where did that rock go?

After all that fun, I was exhausted. Luckily Pooh and Donkey keep an eye out for me, so I can sleep soundly.

Renovation
Dad's working on the kitchen again! Check it out. (For those of you that have not seen our kitchen, where these cabinets are, there was nothing.) The trim has engraved leaves on it and hopefully it will tie all of our mismatched cabinets together. I think my dad does great work.

My parents are going to have fun painting all this and putting in the new counter tops!

A Short Christmas Story
So, apparently my mom was having a hard time finding the "perfect" stocking for me. She grew up with this stocking that she absolutely hated at the time. It was little red knickers with lace on the legs. Very girly. Of course, now she thinks it's totally adorable. Anyway, she was out one day having lunch with her mom and unfortunately for me, she spotted her stocking's twin and it's mate. Check out my new stocking. I'll probably grow up hating it as much as my mom hated hers. For some reason, she thinks that is just the way it should be.
Post-Christmas Fun
I got some fun toys for Christmas. I love playing with them. Dad likes my safari animals almost as much as I do. (12.28.07)

Thank god I got some new books too. I was getting pretty tired of the same old books day in and day out.

See what I mean about Dad loving my animals. He made this scene using the safari animals and the Steve Irwin action figure he gave me. It came with a bunch of gators.

Dad and I like to wrestle too. I'll let you decide who is tougher.

My Aunt Kathy gave me this truck and some blocks last Christmas and you know what? They are just as fun as they were last year!
